I joined Oriflame over a year ago. Since I joined, it’s been a tremendous experience. Gradually I learnt how to work and be successful with Oriflame. I have become a first director in Pakistan and rewarded with a cheque of Rs. 75,000. I also qualified for the Asia Gold conference which was held in Stockholm in early July. Out of seven participants from Pakistan, 4 were from my team. It was a great honor to represent Pakistan on the international stage. It really motivated me to work even harder and develop my network further to become a gold director attend the next conference to be held in Paris next year.
I am one of the founder members of the Oriflame family in Pakistan. In the beginning I joined the Company to make myself busy and was not that serious about adopting this as a career. Soon I developed a steady stream of people in my network and as the people started flowing in so did the money.
The more aggressive I became about selling and showing catalogues to different people I interacted with, my interest grew. When I received my first cheque, I was at 9% but felt very dejected because I missed 12% by only a few hundred rupees. Instead of giving up, I took it on as a challenge to make myself stand out from the rest of my peers. I embarked on a two pronged strategy to achieve my goal. First I increased my direct sales and bought catalogues which I distributed amongst my acquaintances and then followed up with them. I convinced them to buy products by showing them results and as I had used them myself, I had the belief to back up my claims.
The other strategy was to build an extensive network extending to different cities of Pakistan. This enabled me to become the first senior manager and achieve 21% mark. This was a great honor for me and it has spurred me on even more and I will do my best to emulate this for the coming months as well. I would like to thank the staff at Oriflame for their support and guidance.
My objective is to become a diamond director in the near future and then more and more above that. I believe that the key to this success will be developing an extensive and effective network.
